Bridging Analog and Digital Verification: Aldec and Tanner EDA to Hold Webinar on March 8

MONROVIA, California – February 14, 2012 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal (A/MS) integrated circuits (ICs), and Aldec, Inc., an industry leader in electronic design verification, provide an integrated solution for mixed-signal verification. A smart interface between the Tanner EDA T-Spice engine and Aldec’s high-performance digital simulator allows both analog and digital engineers to flip between tools with which they are familiar to solve mixed-signal verification problems.

What: Creating and verifying a mixed-signal IC design is a challenge. Spice-based simulation provides the accuracy needed for the analog design but is too slow to deal with the digital part of a design. Event-driven digital simulation can handle the digital portion, but fails when dealing with analog design. This webinar will allow mixed-signal designers to learn about the solution created by Tanner EDA that interfaces T-Spice with Aldec. A sample analog-to-digital converter design will be used to demonstrate the tools in action.

Who:  Demonstrations by Jeff Miller, Tanner EDA A/MS Product Manager

When:  Thursday, March 8, 2012. 6am PST for European attendees; 11am PST for the Americas
