move waves between subplots?

I could not figure out how to move waves (or traces if you want) between subplots of one graph window. I do NOT want to move the whole subplot up/down, but I want to select single waves from one subplot and move them to another subplot (same graph). I guess there is a simple solution... any help?

The best way to achieve this is to select the traces that you want to move and also select the traces it will be moved with, and then hit the merge or collapse icon (Chart > Collapse traces) to put compatible traces on same plot.
