orthogonal step for circles

orthogonal step for circles

Postby moos_trequis » Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:50 pm

I am working with a process that doesn't allow smooth circle curves, hence, I need to have the circle curvature made with orthogonal step. How can I make up a good approximation of a circle?

For this you can first create a circle using the Circle tool and then convert it to a polygon by using Draw > Convert > To Polygon in L-Edit. Then use Draw > Convert > Polygon to Orthogonal Polygon to create a orthogonal step approximation of a polygon shaped as circle.

Return to Layout using L-Edit
