Tanner EDA Software Tools - Highlights from Design Automation Conference (DAC) 2011
Highlights from the 48th Design Automation Conference (DAC)
June 5-10, 2011
Tanner’s participation at the 48th DAC was extensive – starting with our booth on the exhibit floor where attendees watched demos of our v16 software on Open Access and heard technical talks from partners like Berkeley Design Automation, TowerJazz, and X-Fab. Everyone that stopped by had an opportunity for our raffle drawing where lucky winners got to “Take Tanner for a Spin” and win a prize ranging from gift cards and cameras to Apple Ipads!
Beyond the exhibit floor, Tanner EDA’s Chief Scientist Mass Sivilotti participated in a Technical Panel discussion entitled “Why the Delay in Analog PDK?” – joined by Ori Galzur of TowerJazz and Tom Quan of TSMC. The panel was moderated by Steve Klass.
Tanner EDA also presented two Exhibitor Forums related to Analog IC Design:
Why a Cohesive Tool Flow Drives Productivity (John Zuk & Dr. Mass Sivilotti)
Analog IC Design at the Edge: A New Twist for Nanoscale Productivity (Dr. Lanny Lewyn – Lewyn Consulting & Nicolas Williams – Tanner EDA)
