DAC/ADC Cell Libraries

Tanner EDA's Digital-Analog/Analog-Digital Cell Library contains cell layouts that implement a family of digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). Each cell layout is designed to conform to the SCMOS library standard so that parts from these layout libraries can be combined into a single chip. The circuit layout can be composed automatically by the place-and-route tool for 1-bit to 12-bit converters. With a dedicated methodology for process oriented R-2R calibration, these successive approximation ADCs and DACs are ideal for low resolution audio and similar applications.

Currently, Tanner EDA has process setup files for several different process vendor technologies. Please refer to our Technology Files and Libraries list to locate the particular set you are interested in. If you are interested in a particular process technology setup that is not currently listed, or have special requirements in terms of design rule checks or extraction capability, please contact us so that we can help meet your specific needs. We would be happy to develop a technology file and rule set tailored to your requirements.
